A Taxpayer Bill of Rights: The Next Big Idea for Wisconsin

In 2006, Wisconsin voters could enact some of the toughest spending limits on government of any state in the country. The Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR) is the first policy proposal of its kind since the spending limit bill in Colorado in 1992. TABOR has had incredible success in Colorado and recent polls show public support for a spending limitation bill at 73% among Wisconsin citizens.
