School Choice Yearbook 2007

The school choice movement is on the move. New educational options for America’s children have grown by leaps and bounds since 1990, when the first publicly funded private school choice program for disadvantaged children began operating in Milwaukee. This school year, 150,000 children are benefiting from 16 school choice programs in nine states and the District of Columbia. A record number of students are enrolled in a record number of programs operating in a record number of states.
