School Staffs Grew in New York

New York State educators are warning that proposed cuts in state aid to public schools next year could force more than 14,000 teacher layoffs. Problem? Probably not seeing that the growth in staff amongst education has grown since 2007 despite the fact that enrollment numbers have decreased significantly every year for the state. New York has one of the highest per pupil expenses and has smaller classroom sizes than a majority if the states. It sounds as if teacher layoffs are not the problem.
