May Corruption Watch

This article discusses several examples of corruption within the Illinois state law enforcement system and undue burden that they impose upon Illinoisan taxpayers.  In May alone, four police misconduct cases cost taxpayers $5.2 million. Taxpayers in Illinois are already burdened with some of the highest taxes in the nation, including property taxes and sales taxes. The article maintains that it is unfair Illinoisans have to endure the burden of paying for corruption as well and aims to expose the misconduct plaguing the Illinois state government and subsidiary bureaus.
