• Take in a colloquium on Washington’s D.C. architecture. • Enhance your public policy skills. If you are a current or recent graduate student, you should consider applying for the Lovett C. Peters Fellowship in Education Policy at the Pioneer Institute. The Lovett C. Peters fellow “will develop a broad range of research and public policy skills; he or she will also have an opportunity to devise and complete a ‘Lead’ project, which can consist of research or a practical policy project.The fellowship comes with a generous stipend. Applications are due by April 25. Check the Pioneer Institute Web site for more details.

• Find out if the Internet will remain free from public utility regulation. You can do that by attending the Free State Foundation’s Fourth Annual Telecom Policy Conference, on Tuesday, March 20, 8:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
